After completing her documentary short, artist Susan Sommers engaged Emblematic Creative to develop the film’s key art, website, build its social media presence, and initiate festival submissions.
Artist Susan Sommers engaged Emblematic Creative to shape the public-facing identity for her documentary film short and prepare it for the festival circuit. We developed the film’s key art to visually capture its tone and thematic core, creating a cohesive foundation that carried through to the website and social platforms. The website was designed to clearly articulate the film’s narrative, artistic intent, and relevance, serving as both a discovery tool for audiences and a professional presentation asset for programmers and collaborators.
In parallel, we built and structured the film’s social media presence to introduce the work thoughtfully, highlighting Susan’s artistic voice while creating space for conversation around the film’s themes. Emblematic also initiated and guided festival submissions, refining positioning materials—including loglines and synopses—to ensure clarity and resonance. Together, these efforts established a unified visual and narrative strategy, positioning the film with confidence as it entered the festival landscape.
